How frequent pictures can a 2 gb chip hold? pics single, no vids.?

How frequent pictures can a 2 gb chip hold? pics single, no vids.?

Assuming you are using a digital cam.

That depends on the size and trait of the pictures.

For example, a 1 megapixel picture is smaller in size and standard than a 5 megapixel. So you can store more pictures on a 2GB memory chip using a 1 megapixel camera, and less pictures next to a 5 megapixel unit..

Some cameras also allows you to select the size and element of the pictures to be taken. This allows the user to choose between maximum quality smaller quantity pictures or minimum quality but more pictures.
How big are the pics?
Divide 2000000000 by the number of BYTES contained by the largest image database.

TIP: a 1 MB jpg = 1000000 bytes, you can save nearly 2000 that size.
well no picture is duplicate size so I'd say around nearly 1000 to 2500. it all depends on how huge the pictures are

1GB = 1024MB so go from that to tender yourself a rough estimate
by 2gb chip'll have to guess you have it in mind a flash drive, it depends on the size of pics, todays cameras create rather generous files, let's say they are 2.5 mb , 1gb = 1000 mb, 1000/2.5=400 so at that size pic roughly 800
It depends entirely on the resolution/size of the pictures.

Using 100kb as a guestimate for a fairly low res picture, you might be capable of fit 20,000 smallish pictures on a 2 GB chip.

If you are taking higher resolution pictures taking up 2-3MB respectively, then you might lone fit 600-1000 pictures on your chip.
