How is an integrated circuit manufactured?

Integrated Circuits are built on a Silicon Wafer underneath. The first process is to build the Silicon Wafer. Then based on circuit designed for the Chip the Transistors, Diodes, Resistors, Capacitors are built into this watered-down Silicon Wafer.

As mentioned in the nearer posting read the details from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/integrated_...
Most of them are done on automated assembly lines with robots placing and soldering the parts. Also, everything is within surgically clean assembly rooms.
Printed.. Go check wikipedia, it should hold more than what you want. www.wikipedia.org and search integrated circuit board.
