How long for disk verbs up and de-frag?

I just read your answers and there's one item not a soul mentioned.

What is the size of the HD are you trying to clean up and de-frag?

Also, how much stuff is on the HD?

It stands to function, but obviously, the larger the HD, the longer adjectives of this is going to take, and next to this, how much data you hold stored on it is also going to effect the amount of time it's going to take.

The best method to do this, is to do a little preparation first.

Even next to XP I do this.

Click on Control-Alt-Delete one time, and bring up the task examiner. Go to Processes, and "end process" on everything except "Explorer.exe." Once you have done this, run the disk verbs up. Then get the de-frag going, and step to bed. Regardless of how long it will take, it'll be completed when you rouse up.
It really vaires with different computers. It depends how much unwanted items you've accumulated and how fragmented your drive is.

No, disk verbs up first, then de-frag. and it can bring a while.
it all depends on how regularly you do it, it's recommended to d.c-u every week de-frag im not so sure but the longer you skulk the longer it will take to complete.
Disk Clean-up take a fairly short time. Defragmentation depends on your knotty disk capacity. It could be anything from 30 minutes to 3 hours.
i enjoy had them run adjectives night.. happen especially if you have done it contained by awhile
