How do you erase files from a USB forever?

Ok I hold a cruzer micro 2.0gb. however it says i solely have 800mb of free space? How is that possible? I erased adjectives myfiles!

Right click removable drive and select and format the drive. Then scan and fixes all errors. So adjectives the bad sector are fixed and your drive has become adjectives new and is working in good health now.



In the File System drop down, you will see FAT and FAT32. So which one to select?

If you right click Removable Drive >Properties



The General Properties of the USB drive reveals it is FAT, so I use FAT contained by the format utility. Then just select “Quick Format” and “Start” and adjectives data will be delete and hopefully all errors are very soon gone.



If still none of these tips work

Get hold of the warranty and get it fixed from customer support.

If adjectives fails…. its time to buy a new elevated memory storage USB drive !
Format it. Go into my computer; Plug in the USB drive; right click on the drive god and click format and begin the formatting process. This should fix the problem.
Format it underneath my computer by righting clicking the icon and click format.
Well, if you don't want anything on the USB, what you could do is right click the drive contained by "My computer" and press format. That will delete everything off the USB and offer you a clean start.
