How do you turn sour a wireless optical mouse at darkness, so that the freestyle won't run low?

Most optical mouses (not mice) enjoy a power saver setting built within. It may take looking into the mouse's settings on the control panel. If in that is no power saving setting or its not automatic, you may enjoy to pull the battery at night. They CANT run down if they aren't within the mouse.
Take one of the batteries out. That's what I do.
It does it on its own, after it hasn't be used in a while it shuts bad. It pops back on the minute it senses motion.
Turning bad the wireless mouse itself in the computer via device official will not save battery. The only piece available is to remove the batteries.
Do both of the above
The freestyle is not drained while the mouse is inactive.

If yours is somehow an exception to the rule in recent times remove the batteries or better nonetheless use rechargeables....

....the only justification most manufacturers don't recommend using them (in the manual) is because of their agreements beside Duracell & Eveready (believe it or not). If you can use them in a $600 digital camera consequently why not in a $20 mouse ?

If it's a Mac mouse, there's a sliding cap on the bottom that you close to let go the battery time. If it's not a Mac mouse, buy a Mac computer. They come with a mouse.
