how do you find out the brand and model number of your motherboard?

how do you find out the brand and model number of your motherboard?

1. Right click on the My Computer deity.

2. Click Properties.

3. Click Hardware.

4. Click Device Manager.

5. Click System Devices. You'll see it in in that.
There are a couple ways, if your PC hasnt been modified, you might find this info on the mfgs website, you can also interested the cover and look on the mobo, the easiest way tho, download a program call Belarc Advisor! Its free and isnt full of malware. I have used it for years!
it will articulate the model and such on the board and also there are programs you can return with that tell adjectives about your system. you should know how to goto the run command in the start menu and type contained by dxdiag and it might tell you everything including the bios reworked copy.
best way is to enlarge the back of your computer and look...most newer computers do not hold them....why i keep my weak one...good luck
There's a program I can provide you it's called (Everesthome) and it will show the get and model of your motherboard... the same go's for any hardware software you hold installed in your PC... Let me know if you want the program (pottrecess@hotmail.com) I can email the full program to you..
