How do you know if your PC have a dvd burner?

Look for the logo on the suspected drive and if it have DVD + or - or RW on it, then it's a DVD buner. You can also righ click on My Computer on your desktop, goto properties--->Hardware--> Device Manager. Expand the DVD/CD-Rom drives branch and look for something saying any DVD-RAM or DVDRW. If you don't see that, then most promising it's not a DVD burner...
If it has any writing on the tray look for R/RW underneath the DVD logo.



Or load some burning software and try to write a blank DVD.
