Why not consider buying an optical mouse? They don't have moving parts and consequently don't need cleaned. They can be bought for beneath lb10.
i cleaned mine because an idiot informatician where I work told me I can unscrew and clean it.

But he forgot to mention that those who know nothing going on for this shouldn't do it.

Of course it was impossible to put it rear in place properly and I have to buy a new one. I made equal mistake with the switch board few months later.

But I'm sure the producers breed these things this way so you own to buy new ones.

Good luck if you're a specialist Mr. Fix everything.
Hi,

If ur discussion about a 'ball' mouse consequently what u have to do is turn the mouse upside down. Then u will see a socket where on earth the ball is kept it. Place two fingers around that socket and humanely turn it around anti clockwise. It should open. Then help yourself to the ball out, purify it with wet and then dry it thorougly next blow hard into the socket where on earth the ball is placed.

Then pop the bubble back surrounded by and lock the socket by turning it around again and that it!

I am not sure about getting a free one but u can buy a mouse wipe cheaply literally any where.

Hope that help
